Free Animated Gif Pictures

HOW TO SAVE AN ANIMATED GIF TO YOUR OWN COMPUTER:

Windows:  Right-click on the image to bring up a shortcut menu. Click on "Save Background As..." or "Save Picture As..." (with the left mouse button). The Save dialog box will appear. The name file will appear in the Filename text box and the location for storage will appear in the Save In: drop-down list. Click the Save button.

MACINTOSH: Hold the left mouse button down until the shortcut menu appears. Click on "Save Background." Make sure the name of the file appears. Choose where to save the file. Click the Save button.

If you're looking for a free program that will let you modify animated gifs you can download the Microsoft GIF Animator here. Microsoft doesn't distribute this little program anymore but I kept a copy on my computer. I am not sure it runs on Windows XP or Vista.
