How To Create an Animated GIFAnimated Gifs are all over the Web these days. You can easily create one to use as a moving graphic on your website or blog or even as an Avatar. You can create a moving advertisement by making an animated gif too. However, not all moving or animated pictures you see on the Web are animated gifs.An animated gif has a file extension of .gif. You can easily create an animated gif for free online without even downloading or installing software. Some tools online are complicated and require a lot of knowledge and some are simple to use. This lesson is going to teach you how to make a very simple animated gif using Gifsun.org Step 1: You will need to have the pictures you want to use already on your computer somewhere. If you find pictures you want to use online you need to save them to your computer first. It helps if the pictures are all the same size. The graphics I am using are 150 x 150 pixels. I am using these 3 graphics. You can use more or less but you need at least 2 to create animation.
Step 2: Go to www.gifsun.org Step 3: Click the Browse button and locate your first graphic from your computer. Continue adding graphics until you have all that you want to use to make your animated gif. You will see a list of the graphics you are adding appear at the bottom left. Step 4: From the width size drop-down list pick the size you want your finished gif to be. Step 5: Choose the delay speed from the drop-down list. Step 6: Click Upload to see the preview of your finished animated gif. Step 8:
To save the graphic to your computer so you can upload it to your website or blog just right-click on it and left-click Save Image As. The graphic will have a weird name but you can give it a new name. Just make sure you include .gif on the end. I named my graphic santa.gif
